The acclaimed young Spanish guitarist Andrea González Caballero makes her Marlow Guitar debut.
The 28th John E. Marlow Guitar Series Presents Andrea Gonzalez Caballero (Spain). Spanish guitarist Andrea González Caballero (b. 1992) is one of the most acclaimed young guitarists of her generation. She made her solo debut at the age of eight and has since performed in international guitar festivals and halls across the United States, Europe and Asia to outstanding reviews. Celebrated as a young talent, Caballero has been awarded prizes at such esteemed performance competitions as the Alhambra International Guitar Competition in Spain and the Fernando Sor Guitar Competition in Italy. As a young player she performed in master classes for Margarita Escarpa, before studying formally in Germany with Joaquín Clerch and in the US with Manuel Barrueco at Peabody. Andrea will perform a beautiful program of Spanish works to launch the 28th Marlow Guitar Season.

Concerts this season can be enjoyed two ways, In-Person and Online. Each of our concerts at the Cultural Arts Center will be video recorded and made available for online viewing for one week following the live event. Andrea Gonzalez Caballero online concert recorded at the Cultural Arts Center will be shown October 30th through November 5th. Tickets for the online concert are $20 on sale October 8th and can be purchased on our website https://marlowguitar.org/. There will be an online pre-concert lecture by Rafael Scarfullery.
