Registration opens Monday October 18 for this well attended competitive art exhibition to honor the outstanding talent of our members and their commitment to painting, drawing, mixed media and abstract artwork.
The Friends of the Yellow Barn invite you to register for this yearly event Monday Oct 18 through 5pm on November 19,2021.
Artists submit their best work for this popular show with multiple prize awards. The 80 selected juried in works will be exhibited at the Yellow Barn Studio for three weekends this December and in our virtual gallery for one year.
David Sharpe, distinguished Canadian artist and teacher and the only Canadian member of the American Tonalist Society will serve as our juror.

Glen Echo Park is located at 7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo, MD, 20812 (this is the intersection of Goldsboro Rd and MacArthur Blvd).
From Northern Virginia, take Route 495 to the exit for the Clara Barton Parkway toward Washington, DC. Take the Exit for Glen Echo. Left at the stop sign on MacArthur Blvd. and left into Glen Echo Park. The Yellow Barn is next to the stone tower.
From Rockville, take 270 South to 495 south toward Northern Virginia. Take the exit for Glen Echo and the Clara Barton Parkway. Exit at Glen Echo and proceed to the stop sign on MacArthur Blvd. Take a left into Glen Echo Park.
From Silver Spring, take East West Highway to Bethesda, turn onto Old Georgetown Road then take a left on Wilson Lane. Follow Wilson Lane for a few miles to MacArthur Blvd. Turn Left onto MacArthur Blvd, then turn right into Glen Echo Park's free parking lot.
Using Public Transportation, take Montgomery County Ride-On bus #29 operating daily from the Friendship Heights metro station on the Red Line.
