Please join us for a reception with the artist on March 13, 12-2 p.m.
For over six decades, Gerald Wartofsky’s work has evolved exploring a myriad of themes, while always weaving into his work ethereal, sometimes whimsical, Jewish lore. Some of the most pervasive themes of Wartofsky’s work include literature, music, his connection with his wife and her love of dance choreography. His work can be characterized as a collection of ‘visual narratives’, capturing the soul of the subject, often through allegory and Jewish symbols.
