Six regional artists were commissioned by the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) to create social justice art installations focused on the three known lynchings that took place in Montgomery County during the late 1880s. Each of these installations will be projected onto buildings across two city blocks in downtown Rockville. Beginning at the Historic Red Brick Courthouse, visitors will take a short walking tour to view the installations and learn more about this part of the county's history.
