The Otis Street Arts Project just turned one year old in Mt. Rainier, Maryland and their exhibit in two galleries will show the forward-thinking work of 8 diverse and talented artists.  Sean Hennessey, David Mordini, Jenna North, Alma Selimovic, Liz Lescault, Art Drauglis, Gloria Chapa and M.L.  Duffy will fill the galleries with some of their latest works. Using a multitude of techniques, disciplines and approaches to the content of their art, they are connected and influenced by their daily interactions and conversations.

Alison Sigethy and Carol Talkov will open Elements of Nature.  The ancient Greeks believed that the fundamentals of nature consisted of these four elements; Earth, Water, Air and Fire. The transformative properties of these elemental manifestations create the dissimilarity and diversity in the world around us.  In spite of the uniqueness of nature’s singularity, there is also the recognition that the principle of total unity does exist because everything in nature consists of those same four elements.
