Drawing for Beginners and Intermediates

Drawing for Beginners and Intermediates

Presented by Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture at Online/Virtual Space

This New Year, do something fun and creative by learning how to draw. Noted artist and art educator, Vian Borchert will be teaching a "Beginning and Intermediate Drawing" art class which is offered through Glen Echo Park's Yellow Barn Studio. This special virtual art class is conducted via Zoom, so that anyone can join from the comfort of their homes this Winter season to take and enjoy this class.

In this Drawing art class, Borchert will introduce the students to the wonderful mediums of drawing from graphite pencils, to charcoal pencils and sticks, to colored pencils and pen & ink. Step by step demos will be conducted to guide the students to become skilled draftsmen and draftswomen in the drawing medium. Subject matters from still life of fruits and vegetables to every day objects such as vases and jugs along with flowers and birds will be covered in class. This is a very good course to set one in the correct path to learn and to grow as a budding artist since drawing is the ABC of fine arts.

The class is held on Friday mornings from 10AM - 12PM starting on January 28 till March 18. See link for enrollment and further class description:
