A&M is honored to once again present the work of Nana Bagdavadze in her solo exhibit “The Prayer for Peace” along with Resident Artist exhibit “Threads” and new work in Gallery 209 along with Open Studios.
Artists & Makers Studios on Parklawn Drive in Rockville is honored to once again present the new work of metro-area artist Nana Bagdavadze in her solo exhibit “The Prayer for Peace”. This Georgian born and classically trained artist will exhibit work to honor Ukraine - along with two additional exhibits and Open Studios. The April 2nd opening will run from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Enjoy additional exhibits - “Threads” with A&M Resident Artists, and Gallery 209 Member Artists exhibiting their latest works. In “The Prayer for Peace,” Nana dedicates the exhibit to Ukraine. Having just returned from her recent trip to Georgia, she says that the world has finally woken up and is coming together after ignoring the warning in 2008 when Putin invaded Georgia. And now, she says, “we have this horrible war.” Exhibit curated by Cathy Hirsh.
