As Normandie Farm in Potomac Closes it’s doors, legendary performer Rob Patrick brings the American Songbook to BlackRock! Join us for a trip down memory lane in BlackRock’s beautiful BlackBox.
Rob Patrick is an American singer specializing in American Standards, show tunes, popular music and jazz. Rob Patrick began his singing career in 2003 in piano lounges in the Washington Metropolitan Area (Maryland, D.C, and Virginia). Although Rob has been around music for most of his life, he never sang publicly until a friend encouraged him to sing in a well known piano lounge in Northern Virginia. After that experience, Rob found his passion and has continued to performed in numerous venues in the Washington Metropolitan Area, Canada and Mexico City, Mexico. Rob is most comfortable singing songs from Frank Sinatra’s repertoire and standards sung by music icons Tony Bennett, Perry Como, Sammy Davis Jr. and other great vocalists of the "Golden Age." Rob is known for his smooth phrasing, expansive repertoire, and he has delighted audiences with his performance energy and heartfelt delivery of song lyrics.
Rob has performed with many of the DMV area's great musicians including Chris Grasso, Wayne Wilentz, Wade Beach, Peter Edelman, David Jernigan, Harry Appelman, Alan Dale, Keith Butler Jr. and shared the stage with many of the area's top male and female jazz vocalists. Rob completed his first CD "Songs for You" in the Fall of 2017.
