Registration for the Drawing and Water Based Media Show sponsored by the Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio in Glen Echo Park is open through August 26th. Members may submit two works. This is a “live” exhibition running Labor Day weekend.
Calling all artists to participate in the Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio's annual Drawing and Water Based Media Show. Registration is open July 19 through August 26th. Members may enter two works professionally matted and framed with wire across the width for hanging under 48 inches in size.
The show runs three days at the Yellow Barn Gallery in historic Glen Echo Park, Glen Echo MD. Our last live show brought in 1000 visitors over this popular weekend for the park.
There will be an Artists Reception on Saturday September 3rd from 4-6

Glen Echo Park is located at 7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo, MD, 20812 (this is the intersection of Goldsboro Rd and MacArthur Blvd).
From Northern Virginia, take Route 495 to the exit for the Clara Barton Parkway toward Washington, DC. Take the Exit for Glen Echo. Left at the stop sign on MacArthur Blvd. and left into Glen Echo Park. The Yellow Barn is next to the stone tower.
From Rockville, take 270 South to 495 south toward Northern Virginia. Take the exit for Glen Echo and the Clara Barton Parkway. Exit at Glen Echo and proceed to the stop sign on MacArthur Blvd. Take a left into Glen Echo Park.
From Silver Spring, take East West Highway to Bethesda, turn onto Old Georgetown Road then take a left on Wilson Lane. Follow Wilson Lane for a few miles to MacArthur Blvd. Turn Left onto MacArthur Blvd, then turn right into Glen Echo Park's free parking lot.
Using Public Transportation, take Montgomery County Ride-On bus #29 operating daily from the Friendship Heights metro station on the Red Line.
