Maryland Youth Ballet offers a comprehensive Classical Ballet training program for Children, Youth, and Pre-Professionals ages 2-20 as well as extension classes for teens in Ballet, Jazz, Horton, and West African Dance. Train with experienced faculty, perform in professional full length productions and grow as a dancer in the performing arts. Some partial and full scholarships are available. Audition required for new students 8+.

• Additional classes offered at the advanced level in Pointe, Classical Variations, Character, Jazz, Pilates, and Modern.
• Extension Classes for Teens in Modern, Jazz, West African, and Ballet

• The Nutcracker at the Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center, Rockville
• The Mini-Nut at the Cultural Arts Center, Silver Spring
• Annual Spring Concert at the Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center, Rockville
• Bi-Annual Studio Company Performance at the Silver Spring Black Box Theatre
• Summer Concert at Wolf Trap Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods

Emphasis is placed on love of dance, personal enrichment, and pre-professional achievement.

New Students ages 8 or 9 with little or no ballet experience must request a Beginner Check to determine eligibility; and New Students ages 9+ require an audition. School-Year Auditions are accepted on an ongoing basis as space permits.
