Conviction in Color - art sale and exhibit

Presented by Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture at Yellow Barn Studio at Glen Echo Park

Enjoy an uplifting and joyful exhibition/sale of original oil paintings by artist Kimberly Yourick.  She has shown locally, nationally, and internationally.  Her work displays an overwhelming sense of color, gesture, distance, and mood that is recorded while she works in plein air.  The viewer will experience a sense of vibrant color and movement, particularly seen in nature, florals, or landscape.  This exhibition will contain a large collection of works of all sizes, from miniature to large.  Prints and other products are available as well.  Treat yourself, ...or think of those who may like a nice gift of original, local art. The public reception of food and drink is on September 24th 4-8 pm.  The gallery is open from 10 am to 8 pm on September 24th and 25th.

Her work was recently selected at the Delaplaine Art Center's national juried show, and she serves as an Associate Artist at Riverworks Art Center in Beallsville MD. She is also a member of the Friends of Yellow Barn in Glen Echo MD.
