The Gaithersburg Artist Collective & Artists on Market is back by popular demand at the Arts Barn with a holiday art exhibit filled with wonderful gifts for friends, family, or maybe yourself! The Arts Barn's professional art gallery exhibits the region’s most accomplished artists, including painters, printmakers, sculptors, ceramic artists, photographers, and more. Artists on Market is a pop-up gallery & studio space where visitors may shop for unique art and handcrafts from 27 juried collective members - all local artists - recognized for their talent in painting, collage, fiber, ceramics, jewelry, photography, glass, sculpture & more. The mission of the Gaithersburg Artist Collective, which runs Artists on Market, is to bring the visual arts to the community through not only the pop-up gallery, but also by providing events & educational opportunities for all ages, year-round.

Meet the artists & view their works at an Artists Reception on Saturday, November 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. The reception is open to all and is free to attend. Refreshments will be served.

Visitors are also invited to “Meet Artists on Market” on Saturday, December 10 from Noon to 5 p.m. Enjoy watching artist demonstrations in the teaching studios & browse an extended inventory during this special event.

In addition to the exhibit and market, the Gaithersburg Artist Collective will have a holiday giving box available in the Arts Barn Gallery to help collect food for local food banks, warm clothing for The Dwelling Place & Little Free Library books.
