On Saturday, December 17 at 5 pm, seven solo pianists will perform music for piano through the centuries, to show the depth and range of the concert grand piano in a concert titled: Celebrating the Art of the Piano. Performers include Michael Adcock, Jaewon Lee, Audrey Andrist, Haskell Small, Dionne Laufman, Ardita Statovci, and Yejin Lee performing music of Schubert, Jerome Kern, Liszt, Schumann, Chopin, and more. Each pianist is a faculty member at the Washington Conservatory and has performed throughout the world as a solo artist.
Preceding the December 17 concert at 3:30 pm will be a sing-along with the Washington Conservatory Capital Horns, a conducted ensemble of professional and amateur French horn players who will perform seasonal favorites.
The concerts are non-ticketed with donations gratefully accepted at the door, to support the educational programs of the Washington Conservatory. The suggested minimum donation is $25 per person.

The main parking lot is located on Oxford Road, just off of MacArthur Boulevard, across from the Glen Echo Shopping Center.
From the parking lot, follow the path across the Minnehaha Creek bridge to enter the park.
The staff lot on MacArthur Boulevard is open to the public on weekdays after 4pm and on the weekends.
