Ten Grace in Love authors will share their fiction and nonfiction stories of heartbreak, romance, desire, self-love, and family bonds.  Readers include Cathy Cruise, Kay White Drew, Wendy Goodman, Jessica Claire Haney, Pam McFarland, Andi Myles, Anne Pellicciotto, Colleen Kearney Rich, Julia Tagliere, and Michelle Von Euw.

Light refreshments will be provided, and copies of Grace in Love will be available for purchase. Grace & Gravity is described as a food truck for feminist publishing. Nine volumes including over 300 local women writers have been published since the project’s founding in 2004. Grace & Gravity is currently edited by Melissa Scholes Young, author of the novels Flood (2017) and The Hive (2021).

This program is co-hosted by MoCo Underground Writers Showcase, a free, bi-monthly public event where featured writers read their original prose, poetry, and essays aloud in front of a live audience (also known as a “literary reading”). With a special focus on local independent authors, MoCo Underground showcases writers from all backgrounds and experience from grizzled veterans with hundreds of publishing credits, to never-before-published novices just beginning to find their voices, all are welcome.
