Digital SLR Basics

at Unknown

If you want to create better photographs, the first step is getting to know your camera. This hands-on, three-hour workshop will introduce you to basic photographic principles that will help you understand how your camera works. Aperture, shutter speed, light sensitivity, (ISO/ASA), lenses, camera metering and automatic vs. manual exposure modes will be explained. By the time this workshop is over, you will know what your camera does and how it does it.

You will need a Digital SLR camera with manual exposure mode capability and the full version of the owner’s manual for your camera. If you do not have the full version of the camera’s operating manual, log onto Craig Camera or PhotoBooks to find the full version.
