ArtStream, in partnership with the Theatre Consortium of Silver Spring (TCSS), is proud to present Camp Tumblesteed and Parks & Inspiration, June 17-26, 2016 at the Silver Spring Black Box Theatre in Silver Spring, MD.

First, blaze a trail to Camp Tumblesteed, where a mythical totem pole leads cynical campers in their quest for courage, intelligence, friendship, and honor. Then, in Parks & Inspiration, the cure for writer’s block is a walk through the park – especially when that park is home to talking trees, a mermaid pond, and magic where you least expect it.

Inclusive Theatre Companies are directed by trained theatre professionals and feature actors who have intellectual disabilities or learning disabilities, or are on the Autism Spectrum. An original script is developed during the rehearsal process through improvisation techniques. A play is scripted and blocked, memorized by the actors, and then performed for the public. The final production is designed to showcase each actor’s unique talents.
