Students will learn the “excavation” method of screen printing, a technique that involves building up layers of ink and then sanding some of the ink to reveal layers below. Students will use Arches 88 printmaking paper. The process is experimental and requires several sessions to allow time for the ink to dry. Previous screen print experience is required.
