Docs In Progress is pleased to present a series of screenings and workshops to celebrate the power of documentary to reflect the stories of our local communities in Montgomery County. All events are free and open to the public. The festival kicks off  Wednesday, November 12 with film screenings at the AFI Silver Theater, continues Thursday, November 13 with more film screenings at the Takoma Park Community Center. Films screened are shorty documentaries about people and places in Montgomery County, and are produced by adults and youth in Docs In Progress programs. Following the screenings, there will be Q&As with the filmmakers and people featured in the films. On Saturday, November 15, there will be a free workshop on documentary filmmaking at Docs In Progress WEDNESDAY VENUE (7:00-9:00 PM)
