Join FOLMC for the November 20th Literary Luncheon, held at the Strathmore Mansion in North Bethesda. The luncheon features an author talk and book signing, followed by a catered lunch. A limited number of books will be available for purchase on-site during the luncheon.
Dr. Ida E. Jones is the National Director of the Association of Black Women Historians. Her book Mary McLeod Bethune in Washington, DC: Activism and Education in Logan Circle explores the monumental life of early civil rights activist Mary McLeod Bethune.
