Connecting the Community Through Dance is the first ClancyWorks in-person event for 2024 and will offer something for everyone. This family-friendly program includes mini workshop demonstrations that offer a taste of what ClancyWorks does in the community and in the classroom, including our “Seniors Organize with the Arts to Rejuvenate (SOAR)” and “ASPIRE Arts in Education” K-12 after school residency programs, the chance to meet the ClancyWorks leadership team including several local board members, our Founding Artistic Director, Dr. Adrienne Clancy, teaching artists, and the administrative team, after watching these performances, the audiences will have an opportunity to ask the artists questions about the creative process of making a dance.

Everyone will have the opportunity to dance, watch a dance performance, and participate in a Q&A with performers and Artistic Director Adrienne Clancy. There also will be mini dance workshops designed especially for children. Finally, participants have the exciting opportunity to win prizes through our raffle, featuring a variety of rewards such as t-shirts, books, and gift cards.
