History Hour at Josiah Henson Museum & Park

This lecture series features local historians, educators and more who will share their knowledge of local and regional history. Arrive early and take a self-guided tour of Josiah Henson Museum and Park. Appropriate for ages 12 and older. Doors open at 5pm.

For Women’s History Month, we will have a presentation by Dr. Iyelli Ichile, the Director of the African American Studies Institute at Prince George’s Community College.

This program will take place at the Josiah Henson Museum and Park visitor center. Refreshments provided. Admission, $5 per person. Tickets available onsite.

Directions/Parking:  Parking is only available at the Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center, 1.5 blocks away at 5900 Executive Boulevard, North Bethesda, with limited accessible parking at the museum. The Red Line Metro stop at North Bethesda is 0.6 miles away, and Ride On Route 26 has a stop within 50 yards of the Visitor Center.
