Lillian Gordis

Lillian Gordis

Presented by Capriccio Baroque at Live! at 10th and G

Lillian Gordis, one of today's most-watched young harpsichordists, performs music by J.S. Bach from his Well-Tempered Clavier, Book II, and  works by premier 17th century English composers William Byrd, John Bull, and William Tisdall.  Join her on this glorious, illuminating journey through musical worlds of tonality and color.

Hailed as a "Martha Argerich of the harpsichord" (ResMusica), Lillian regularly performs as soloist in festivals across Europe and the U.S.  Her most recent album, a double-disc dedicated to Bach (Paraty Productions, 2022) was awarded a Diapason d'Or and has received praise in the press world-wide (Gramophone, Scherzo, American Record Guide, Fono Forum, Qobuz...).  It was a "coup de coeur nouveauté" on France Musique.
