This comprehensive workshop will introduce the beginning or intermediate screenwriter to the tools and skills needed to begin writing a feature-length screenplay: shaping the story, structure, plot, character development, writing the dramatic scene, and dialogue. In addition, we'll discuss aspects of the ?Business of Screenwriting.? Participants should arrive with a short synopsis (no more than a page) for a screenplay idea they'd like to develop.
