This 3-hour afternoon workshop aims to help you write your best by showing you how to feel your way onwards. Just as your favorite fiction and nonfiction works come alive to readers through their authors’ judicious use of sensory and emotional detail — over three hours, you’ll develop a foundation for doing so yourself by way of short writing exercises, partner/small group work, and guided class discussion. You’ll go back to your writing desk with a fresh source of ideas; a richer sense of possibility; and an enhanced ability to bring the world onto your page.
