Atlanatic Reed Consort with a world premiere by Dr Stephen Gorbos "Bright Catching".
Atlantic Reed Consort strives to bring chamber music to a broad audience in an unexpected format. A quintet comprised of all reed instruments, the Atlantic Reed Consort's cutting edge sound and style embraces the experimental, as well as adding a new twist to the likes of Bach, Vivaldi and Debussy. The Atlantic Reed Consort-Emily Snyder, Oboe, Brooke Emery, Clarinet, John Romano, Bass Clarinet, Jeremy Koch, Saxophone and Eddie Sanders, Bassoon, lend a fresh new sound to the quintet medium. In this specail season finale cocnert, they will also be assited by Dennis Hoffmann, drums, Matt Murray, bass and Joseph Haughton, singer. They promote chamber music through educational clinics and recitals for children, teens and collegiate level musicians, as well as public outreach concerts for audiences of all ages.
