Classical collides with contemporary in this adventurous concerto composed by R.E.M.’s Mike Mills.
Grammy nominated violinist Robert McDuffie commissioned Mike Mills, founding member of seminal rock band R.E.M., to compose the piece. The performance, with arrangements and additional music by David Mallamud, will feature McDuffie on violin along with the Worldless Music Orchestra and Mills, naturally, will perform with the rock band on bass and keys.
