UB40

Presented by Strathmore at Music Center at Strathmore

UB40 defined reggae for a generation, and these are the founding members who defined UB40. Ali Campbell, Astro, and Mickey Virtue reunite to recapture the magic of their iconic sound. Launched in 1979 in Birmingham, England, UB40 offered a rootsy take on reggae that set them apart from the punk-oriented two tone bands of the time. Expect a set of fresh originals plus the band’s signature, reggae-ified covers including hits “Red Red Wine,” “(I Can’t Help) Falling in Love with You,” and more.
