Gallery B November Exhibit- Metalwork 2014

Presented by Bethesda Urban Partnership at Gallery B

Gallery B is pleased to present its November exhibition, Metalwork 2014, a juried show by the Washington Guild of Goldsmiths. The group exhibition, juried by Andy Cooperman and Namu Cho, will feature jewelry, sculpture and functional art by 46 guild members.

Metalwork 2014 will be on display from November 1-29 at Gallery B, located at 7700 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite E, Bethesda, MD. Gallery hours for the show will be Wednesday – Sunday, 12-6pm.

The exhibition’s opening reception will coincide with the monthly Bethesda Art Walk on Friday, November 14 from 6-9pm.

The Bethesda Urban Partnership and Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District opened Gallery B in October 2011 with the support of Bethesda Place Limited Partnership. Gallery B serves as the flagship of the Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District. The mission of the Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District, Inc., 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is to create and implement arts and entertainment projects that contribute to the artistic, cultural and economic growth of downtown Bethesda.

Bethesda Urban Partnership, Inc. (BUP) is the non-profit organization established by Montgomery County in 1994 to maintain and market downtown Bethesda. BUP fulfills the landscaping and maintenance needs of downtown Bethesda, and creates cultural events and exciting festivals such as the Taste of Bethesda, Bethesda Literary Festival, Bethesda Fine Arts Festival and more. In its 20-year operation, BUP created Bethesda Transportation Solutions in 2000, established the Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District in 2002 and took over the management of the Bethesda Circulator in 2006.
