The Highwood Theatre’s Summer Musical company presents a thought provoking musical that poses complex question about life, love and art.
What is the value of art? This serves as of the primary themes explored in Stephen Sondheim's groundbreaking musical, "Sunday In The Park With George", which imagines the context for the creation of George Seurat's famous painting. The musical depicts the legacy of the artist behind the artwork, George, as he struggles to achieve his vision while maintaining a romantic relationship with Dot.
Our summer musical production, Sunday in the Park with George written by James Lapine with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, will dazzle you with its score and thrilling staging, and ask you to question matters of love and art in your own life.
Tickets for Sunday in the Park with George are $20
