For Immediate Release

BETHESDA, MD – Join Flying V as we bring celebrated playwright Young Jean Lee’s look at living life with death on the horizon to the stage! We’re Gonna Die is directed by Josh Sobel, whose Chicago production of the show drew critical acclaim and was picked up to run at Steppenwolf.

Flying V Company Member and fan favorite Farrell Parker (You, or Whatever I Can Get) fronts a live band in this mash-up performance that combines elements of a storytelling session, existential stand up routine, and rock concert to explore real-life experiences of facing down our inevitable demise.

There’s a different Opening Act each week to set the table – musicians to magicians, stand up comics to storytellers. The result is a life- affirming show that explores the ways we’re in this together even in our most isolating moments, and the one thing we all have in common: We’re Gonna Die.

Media Only: Please RSVP for Opening Night on May. 25, and the reception that follows, to Navi at navi@flyingvtheatre.com, no later than May 20.
