Enjoy the weather, enjoy the space, enjoy the day!

Introducing a new studio:  We are excited to welcome Earlywood Design & Services to the Countryside Artisans.  Earlywood Design & Services, located in Western Howard County, has been converting urban logs into beautiful live edge slabs since 2010. The northern DC suburbs are filled with beautiful old trees that eventually need to be taken down. Working with local tree services, Earlywood takes the logs from the magnificent trees, saws them into live edge slabs, dries them, and turns them into beautifully unique tables. No two tables are exactly alike, but any size table can be custom made to match the customer’s taste. Come by and see the process, and the products on the Countryside Artisans Fall Studio Tour.

The Countryside Artisans of Maryland represents a selected group of accomplished visual, sculptural, textile, and beverage artists working in wood, oil, pastel, watercolor, pencil, ceramics, porcelain, glass, stone, yarn, textiles, photography, silver, enamel, hops, grapes, and tea.  The Countryside Artisans jointly open their galleries and studios located in historic, rural Montgomery, Howard, and Frederick Counties in Maryland for several art tours each year.  The studios/galleries are located on working farms, in renovated barns and chicken coops, or in historic buildings.  (The galleries and studios are also open at other times and by appointment.)  Visit countrysideartisans.com to learn more.
