Summer at Silver Spring’s Veterans Plaza will once again be filled with festivals, according to a tweet from Eric Rasch, operations manager.

Twenty-two festivals are scheduled beginning May 1 through Sept. 25, highlighted by the Silver Spring Jazz Fest on Sept. 10.

There will be four festivals focused on Caribbean countries, food and culture, along with four featuring African heritage and countries, along with a World Heritage Festival and International Food & Crafts Fair.

Other events will feature dance, music, fitness, arts and crafts, Pride in the Plaza, Future Fest 2022 and an end of summer celebration.

All events will be held on Sunday, with the exception of the jazz fest on Saturday. Times will vary and more information will be forthcoming.
