VisArts is pleased to present NextGen 9.0, a group exhibition of works by emerging artists from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The show will be on view in VisArts’ Gibbs Street Gallery from June 3-August 7. An opening reception will be held Friday, June 10 from 7-9 p.m.

The annual NextGen exhibition offers aspiring artists ages 17-27 from the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. area, who have little to no exhibition record, the opportunity to bring their work to a wider audience.

The exhibition is planned and realized by a dedicated team of Galleries Department interns and volunteers, with mentorship from the Galleries Department staff.
