March was declared as National Women’s History Month by Congress in 1987 to honor the extraordinary achievements of American women. The theme for 2023, “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories”, encourages recognition of women who have been active in all forms of media and storytelling including print, radio, TV, stage, screen, blogs, podcasts, and more.
