This month Marlow Guitar International launched a new initiative: Community Fundraising Through MGI, designed to offer DMV area arts and education organizations the opportunity to fundraise through the Marlow Guitar Series.

Founded in 1993, Marlow’s programs have been enriching the lives of the DC metro community through music for the past 30 years. Marlow Guitar supports multiple community outreach programs including Guitars for Veterans, the Myrna Sislen Youth Competition, and countless masterclasses, community concerts, and school visits. The crown jewel of Marlow Guitar International is the Marlow Guitar Series which brings up and coming as well as internationally-renowned talent to DC area audiences.

The Community Fundraising Through MGI program gives MGI the opportunity to help support our neighbors who offer educational, arts, music, and community services and to give back to a community that has generously supported us for the past 30 years. MGI will donate a limited number of tickets to a concert of your choice from our season line-up. Your constituents and supporters will be able to buy the designated tickets through MGI’s website using a unique coupon code and two weeks after the concert we will send your organization the net proceeds from your ticket sales.

Working with MGI not only offers partner organizations the chance to raise funds, it can increase your visibility within our community. Partner organizations will be featured on our social media and recognized during the pre-concert announcements and it will be an opportunity to share a great cultural experience and support the arts in our community.
