I have been painting for over 30 years.  I focus on still life, florals, figurative, and large bird paintings.  However, I teach all types of subjects including landscape painting.  Students will learn or perfect the principles of painting including:  composition, negative space, value and value relationships, edges, color mixing, brush work and special painting techniques.

I am honored to be a copyist at The National Gallery of Art, a juried member of The Maryland Portrait Society and Pastel Society of Maryland.  In addition I am a member of the Portrait Society of America.  My painting awards are numerous and I continue to receive recognition in art shows.  I have been painting professionally for over 30 years.
