The Jazz Academy teaches kids from ages 9-19 by offering Jam Camp, Jazz Academy Ensemble, Jazz Academy Orchestra and not the Jazz Academy beginning Genesis Band. The Jazz Academy also produces the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival.

The Jazz Academy of Music’s mission is to advance and preserve the art of traditional jazz music through education and outreach.
