That's what is so great about America. It corrects mistakes made through time. The dances today iare a mix of all ages and individuals. Come dance with us!

Yes, the owners of the park had an awful practice. Still, they are no longer associated with the park so perhaps you can look at the park with fresh eyes. The park is welcoming to everyone, and people of many backgrounds converge there to celebrate life. Perhaps you can do so yourself before long. Whatever its history, it is now the kind of place the Civil Rights movement worked to create.

As we say in class, it is a form of non-verbal communication between partners. You can learn a lot about someone in a short time on the dance floor.
