Cafritz Foundation Arts Center

Cafritz Foundation Arts Center

The Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Arts Center is home to the Visual Arts and Design program and the School of Art + Design. The addition of this center sparked a tremendous growth surge in the visual arts discipline enrollment. The building has three gallery spaces – the King Street Gallery, the Open Gallery, and the Maze gallery.  In addition to the named gallery spaces, the building’s nooks and hallways are used to exhibit student art throughout the year. The building also has its own store with art supplies and multiple food options.

Workforce Development and Continuing Education has offices and classrooms on the second floor of the Cafritz Center and the building is also home to the Montgomery County Refugee Training Program (MCRTP), which addresses the language, educational, and vocational needs of the local community.
