Literary Luncheon with Mei Fong & Andrew Lih

Presented by Friends of the Library, Montgomery County and Strathmore at The Mansion at Strathmore

Literary power couple Mei Fong and Andrew Lih discuss their lives, careers, and works together. Fong is a Pulitzer-winning journalist and former staff reporter for the China bureau of The Wall Street Journal. She is the author of One Child: The Story of China’s Most Radical Experiment. Andrew Lih is a new media researcher and professor of journalism at American University. Lih is an expert on Wikipedia who published the book, The Wikipedia Revolution: How A Bunch of Nobodies Created the World’s Greatest Encyclopedia.

Copies of One Child will be available for purchase.  Tour the historic Strathmore Mansion, art exhibit and shop for handmade crafts and jewelry during your visit. Ridgewells caters lunch from a pre-selected menu. FOLMC is supported in part by funding from the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County.
