Originally built in 1899 as a nine-bedroom summer home for prominent Washingtonians, the Georgian-styled Mansion at Strathmore is now home to intimate artistic programs presented by Strathmore. The Mansion is comprised of a spacious conference room, charming gift shop, intimate 100-seat music room, picturesque art galleries, and administrative offices for Strathmore and its resident partners. The Mansion’s dynamic space makes it a unique venue that hosts a variety of events including concerts and recitals, summer art camps, afternoon tea, visual art exhibitions, and private events such as weddings, showers, and parties.
