Praised by The Baltimore Sun for “flawless crystalline technique, and warmth and electricity in her playing,” Franklin is an in-demand performer, lecturer, and teacher.
Franklin has performed throughout Europe, Canada, and the US as a soloist and ensemble artist. She has been heard everywhere from the BBC to Ireland’s RTE to NPR’s Performance Today, where she’s known for spoken as well as musical broadcasts. Dedicated to outreach and education, Franklin has taught at the Peabody Conservatory and the Royal College of Music. She is joined by Christian Tremblay on the violin and Jonathan Miles Brown on the fretless bass for a program exploring Ravel, Gershwin, and others at work in Paris.
