There’s something about a big band that encapsulates the spirit of the season.
Even though the legendary nightclub it’s named for is now closed, The Bohemian Caverns Jazz Orchestra (BCJO), a 17-piece big band, is still going strong and continuing its quest to simultaneously embrace and challenge the treasured traditions of big band repertoire. Featuring some of DC’s best musicians, the BCJO performs a holiday concert that includes classics from Ellington, Basie, and Strayhorn.
