Artist Patty Guzman Exhibit

About the Artist: Patty Guzman, Resident Artist at Artists & Makers 2 in Rockville, was born in Monterey, Nuevo Leon and began painting in Mexico City. Her early works in oil and acrylic were influenced by cubists and abstract artists like Manuel Felguerez and Jackson Pollock. Today, her work stems from her love of life and reveals the most intimate corners of her existence. From a life marked by episodes of suffering, her art represents hope for liberation.
