And if that isn’t enough, Berlioz’s richly orchestrated Symphonie fantastiqueconjures a tale of obsessive love leading to madness, an opium dream and a dance with the Devil. French conductor Ludovic Morlot makes a welcome return for this pyrotechnic program.
