Straight from the NYC club scene, saxophonist and composer Elijah Jamal Balbed thrills audiences with "...a hard swinging set of songs in the classic jazz tradition." (Luke Stewart, Capital Bop/WPFW) A versatile saxophonist, Balbed has performed with Cyrus Chestnut, jazz/funk legend Dr. John, and the Godfather of Go-Go, Mr. Chuck Brown.
