Founded in 2002 by Plácido Domingo, the Washington National Opera’s Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program trains artists on the verge of international careers, offering exceptionally promising young performers two years of intensive training, study, and career guidance and featuring them prominently throughout the Washington, DC area.
