The classic heroine Penelope and her maids tell the story of what was happening on the home front while husband Odysseus was away. This is the East Coast premiere of THE PENELOPIAD by Margaret Atwood – legendary author of The Handmaid’s Tale.
What's the classic heroine Penelope to do when her celebrated husband is away for years? The poet Homer gives us the "official version" of Odysseus' undertakings in "The Odyssey" - glorified fighting in the Trojan War, clever slaying of monsters, and blissful indulgences of a beautiful island goddess.
