Writing the Song

Write a song! Start a musical! Have you ever wanted to turn your stories and memories into scenes, dialogue, and song? Workshop participants will write from album covers, cabaret, and street art. Taught by tenured Professor Ruth Margraff from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, this writing workshop uses exercises to inspire soundscapes, an album idea, a song, or more lyrical poetry and fiction. Open to all genres, styles, levels and backgrounds.
