Participants will learn tips on how to conserve energy in their homes and more AND get a chance to win prizes! Speaker: Larissa Johnson, Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection. Cocktail partner: Cosmos Roastery

This virtual series explores the concept of Sustainability, how it impacts us, and the simple steps we can take to help the world. This program will stream free on Facebook Live and YouTube. The cocktail partner provides a recipe and video the week before the program.

During our visit we attended an Open Studio session, visited the Betty Boyd Dettre Library and Research Center and saw “The Sky’s the Limit”.

We visited Alliance Comics in Downtown #SilverSpring to highlight their expansive collection of comics and graphic novels. They offer comic reservations, have a comic buyback program and even open an hour early on Wednesday for new releases. It was a pleasure visiting #AllianceComics and picking up a few $1 comics to jumpstart my collection.
